Méabh McDonnell
I am a bookseller and writer with almost a decade of experience in the publishing and media industry. I am currently a bookseller and buyer in Ireland’s most famous independent bookshop, Charlie Byrne’s in Galway. I have honed my media and design portfolio as sub editor for The Clare People newspaper. Prior to this I developed my skills while in charge of generating and designing editorial content in Manufacturing Ireland magazine. I have an active social media presence which I directed into founding a new online bi-monthly magazine, Cinders Magazine. This involves sourcing interviews, managing writers and editing and designing the magazine every two months.

Fun Fact
I have always loved cats, but unfortunately I'm so allergic to them that merely rubbing a cat makes it look like I've been crying for weeks! Because of this, I make sure to have a cat in everything I write, to make up for the ones I don't get to have in real life!
